An Evening with Pål Brekke – Kristian Birkeland and the Northern Lights
The Norwegian Club is honored to host Pål Brekke, world-renowned Norwegian space scientist, author, and lecturer—flying in from Norway for this special event.
Brekke has worked with NASA, led major European space projects, received ESA’s Exceptional Achievement Award, and published extensively on the Sun and its influence on Earth. His books and films on the Northern Lights have inspired audiences worldwide.

In this visually stunning lecture, Brekke will bring to life the extraordinary story of Kristian Birkeland—the man who first proved that the Sun powers the Northern Lights, revolutionized space science, and invented the method that made large-scale artificial fertilizer possible.
